I have been researching my families roots for about ten years. It has become an obsession and an addiction. I have made many fascinating discoveries along the way.
One of these discoveries was to find that both my father and mother's ancestors were among the early settlers of Maryland. I knew that I had distant relatives in Maryland, but having been born and raised, along with previous generations, in Pennsylvania - I just never gave thought until I began my research, of where my roots were actually planted.
I hope by creating this blog, that I will meet others doing genealogical research, not just in the Maryland area - but around the world. Along the way I will share with you my trials and tribulations.
